How AMCO's 24/7 Monitoring Works

When the alarm is activated, one of our monitoring team speaks through a loudspeaker in the property and asks what assistance is needed. We then notify the emergency services and any listed relatives immediately. Our microphones are sensitive enough to pick up on distress even if the person is struggling to speak clearly.

Important: The UK Landline Switchover and Personal Alarms

The UK's old analogue landline network (PSTN) is being switched off, with a final deadline of 31 January 2027. This affects any personal alarm or telecare device that relies on a traditional landline connection, as these devices may stop working once a property is moved to a digital line.
