The Texecom Connect app lets you arm, disarm and monitor your Premier Elite alarm from your phone, wherever you are. It's available free on Google Play and the App Store - here's how to get the most out of it.

Everything the app puts in your pocket
Once it's linked to your Premier Elite panel, the app covers everything from day-to-day arming through to full room-by-room device control.
Secure sign-in
Access to the app requires your secret code or fingerprint recognition, so only authorised users can reach your alarm.
Connection status
A green icon in the top right shows the cloud-connection status. If it isn't lit green, you won't be able to control your alarm via the app.
Arming
Press the red lock button in the bottom right of the home screen to arm your system.
Disarming
Press the green unlock button in the bottom left of the home screen to disarm your system.
Timeline
A circular 00-24hr timeline logs every activation and disarm event, so you can see exactly what happened and when.
Calendar
Tap the calendar icon for a scrollable list of alarm-related events - a cleaner's arrival, an activation and more. Tap any entry for detail.
Rooms & devices
Control smart plugs, check room temperature, and see every connected sensor and its status, grouped by room.
Push notifications
You'll get an instant push notification on your phone whenever a sensor is activated.

Automations and common questions
Tap any question below to expand it - including how to build a "recipe" that automates your devices, and answers to the questions we get asked most.
A "recipe" combines a cause and an effect - for example, turning on the hall light whenever the front door opens while the alarm is set. Here's how to build one:
- Tap the '+' button in the top right of the app to add a new recipe.
- Tap '+' in the cause section.
- Select a cause from the system, devices or rooms list - for example, "disarm Area A".
- Select an effect from your rooms or devices - for example, a smart plug.
- Choose the device state you want, on or off.
- If you're turning something on, select how long it should stay on for.
- Give the recipe a name and description.
- Swipe the activation button right to make it live - it turns blue once the recipe is active.
Download the Texecom Connect app, then sign in with your existing login details (your email address and password). Depending on how your system is configured, you may also need a 6-digit app code from your installer to link the app to your alarm.
The new user needs a physical alarm user code set up on the panel first. Once they have that, you can invite them into the app via Menu > Users > + (add).
