How to upgrade your burglar alarm to a smart alarm
Even if your alarm was installed over 20 years ago, you can typically add smart app control and monitored LiveViz cameras via one of three upgrade paths, depending on what panel you already have.

Which upgrade path applies to you?
Which route you take depends on the panel you currently have installed. All three keep most of your existing equipment in place.
Infinite
Infinite (wireless) smart upgrade
Infinite is an older Risco-based wireless alarm range. The smart upgrade path is to a modern wireless “Compact” smart panel - all of your existing Infinite sensors are compatible with it, so mainly the alarm panel itself needs replacing.
Premier
Premier smart upgrade
The Texecom Premier is modular by design, which makes this the simplest of the three upgrades: just add a SmartCom module to your existing panel to unlock app control.

Veritas smart upgrade
The main path is upgrading to a Premier Elite panel fitted with a SmartCom module. All Texecom sensors are cross-compatible, so the main change is simply swapping the control panel and keypad.
