The setup that covers most households
The majority of Veritas installs are programmed at standard level, and it's all most households ever need. It's simple to use day-to-day and covers the two things people actually do with an alarm - set it fully when going out, and set it partially overnight.
- Full set - arms every sensor in the property
- Part set 1 (night set) - protects downstairs only
- One user code for the whole household
- Chime function for doors and windows
- Whole property treated as a single area
Extra flexibility, available at extra cost
If your household needs more than one set pattern or more than one person needs their own code, Veritas can be programmed at advanced level. AMCO can set this up at install time, or on a later visit if your needs change.

- Up to 3 user codes, each with its own zone restrictions

Night mode and perimeter-only protection
Two of the most common reasons households move to advanced programming - keeping part of the home free to move around in overnight, or only arming the points a burglar could actually get in through.
- Night mode - protect the ground floor overnight while upstairs stays freely accessible
- Perimeter protection - arm just the entry and exit points rather than the whole property
Access codes that only open what they need to
With up to 3 zone-restricted user codes, you can hand out access without handing out full access - useful for anyone who's regularly in and out of the property but shouldn't have the run of the whole house.
- Delivery access - unlock a porch or utility room for a delivery while the rest of the property stays secure
- Cleaner access - grant general access for a cleaner while keeping specific private areas protected
- Worker restrictions - limit a contractor's code to specific floors or rooms only
Pet-friendly setups and separate outbuildings
Programming can also be shaped around the property itself, not just the people using it - whether that's working around pets or treating a detached building as its own space.
