AMCO Security is a family-owned business established over 25 years ago and headquartered in Easingwold, just north of York. As the business grows its North Yorkshire operations, AMCO is looking for a Security Engineer to join the team, based in or around York.
The role
This is a field-based engineering role installing intruder alarm and CCTV systems across York and the wider North Yorkshire area, while maintaining the high standard of customer service AMCO is known for. You'll be working on a mix of domestic and commercial sites, representing AMCO on the doorstep as much as on the tools.

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years' UK experience with strong references
- Sound electrical knowledge, gained through a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
- Working knowledge of British Standard BS4737 for intruder alarms
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Physically capable of the job - lifting, carrying, working at height on ladders, and using power tools
- Self-motivated, comfortable working independently and at irregular hours
