Who owns the equipment?

With AMCO you pay for the installation and equipment, so you own the system. Some larger providers, Verisure among them, work on a rental model where the company keeps ownership. Neither is right or wrong, but ask what happens to the equipment if you leave.

Call-back or two-way audio?

Find out what actually happens when the alarm activates. AMCO's LiveTalk lets our monitoring team listen, speak and challenge in real time. Ask each provider whether they use two-way audio or a call-back to the property.

Minimum contract and notice period

Check the minimum initial term and how much notice you'd need to give to cancel, and whether either can change after you've signed.

Installation cost vs ongoing fee

A lower install price can mean the equipment cost is spread into your ongoing fees instead. Compare the total over the life of the system, not just the first payment. AMCO offers split payments to make ownership easier to budget for.

What's included in support
